OpenAssets Unveils Sentinel AI Compliance Platform for Token Markets
OpenAssets launched Sentinel, an AI-powered compliance platform converting written financial obligations into machine-readable controls for tokenized markets.
OpenAssets, a Pittsburgh-based digital asset infrastructure provider, announced Tuesday the launch of Sentinel, an artificial intelligence-enabled compliance platform designed to modernize financial market infrastructure for tokenized assets.
Sentinel is positioned as what the company describes as an "evidence layer" for tokenized markets, translating written regulatory and contractual obligations into machine-readable controls. The platform is built to generate continuous, portable proof of compliance — a capability the company says is absent from legacy financial market systems.

The launch addresses a growing tension in digital asset markets, where tokenization of traditional financial instruments has outpaced the compliance and audit infrastructure needed to support institutional adoption. By automating the conversion of obligations into enforceable, machine-readable formats, Sentinel aims to reduce manual compliance overhead and increase auditability across the trade lifecycle.
OpenAssets framed the product under its broader OpenCompliance initiative, signaling an intent to build out a suite of regulatory technology tools aimed at the intersection of blockchain-based asset markets and institutional financial oversight requirements. The company did not disclose pricing or specific client commitments at launch.
