Acrisure Mortgage, DRB Group Form Home Loan Joint Venture
The two companies are launching DRB Mortgage to provide dedicated home financing within DRB Group residential communities.
Acrisure Mortgage, LLC and DRB Group announced the formation of DRB Mortgage, a joint venture aimed at bringing in-house home financing options to buyers in DRB Group residential communities, according to a statement released Wednesday from Orlando, Florida.
Acrisure Mortgage, ranked among the top 25 residential mortgage lenders in the United States, will provide the lending infrastructure and expertise behind the new venture. The partnership is designed to streamline the home-buying process for DRB Group customers by giving them direct access to mortgage services tied to the communities where they are purchasing homes.

Joint ventures between homebuilders and mortgage lenders have become an increasingly common structure in the residential real estate industry, allowing builders to capture more of the transaction and offer buyers a consolidated experience from contract signing through closing. The arrangement can also give lenders a reliable pipeline of purchase-loan originations in a market where refinancing volume has declined significantly.
No financial terms of the DRB Mortgage joint venture were disclosed in the announcement. The companies did not specify which geographic markets or community developments would be served first under the new entity.
